Please try the steps below if you are having visual or power issues with your monitor.
- Make sure the power connector in the back of the monitor is snug in place. This is a very common issue for those power plugs to gradually come loose overtime and cause monitors to go in and out. Check for visuals.
- If that’s verified to be snug and it’s still an issue, try the below in order:
- Unplug the monitor from power and unplug it from the dock (or desktop).
- While it has no power, hold the monitor Power button in for 30 seconds to relieve it of any stuck electrical charges.
- Plug it the monitor back into Power and plug it back into the dock (or desktop).
- You might need to turn it on, but sometimes it will come on its own when it detects the dock (or desktop).
- See if it the visuals come back on normally.
- If it’s still an issue and you use a dock, make sure the dock power is plugged snug as I have also seen monitors go in and out due to the power of the dock being halfway in the back of it.
- You can also try the steps listed above with the dock (just replace monitor with dock and the steps are the same.
- You can also try the steps listed above with the dock (just replace monitor with dock and the steps are the same.
- As always, give your desktop or laptop a reboot to make sure it's not a communication issue between the monitor and your computer.
